Dear Buffalo, Why Do You Hate Me?

It's snowing. Cold, wet, WHITE snow. I hate snow. Yes it's pretty and sometimes when things are covered and they sparkle because the light hits them just right (like Vampires!), it takes my breath away, but most of the time. Snow just gets in the way.

I've lived in Buffalo my entire life and so you'd think I'd be used to snow by now, but I'm not. Okay, scratch that, I AM used to snow, I just don't like it. It causes people to drive like retards, it sticks to things, it makes me late for work because I have to scrape it off of my car, and when it's covering the streets its incredibly dangerous.

For the record, it's October 22nd and it's snowing. Not a lot of snow, not even really cover the ground snow (it's definitely too warm for that) but snowing enough that you can call it snow, and not heavy rain and that just makes me sad because in my mind I live in a little bubble where things like snow, they just don't happen.

Okay, enough talk of the icky white stuff, let's talk ELI STONE. Oh my god I love this show. Yes, Johnny Lee Miller and his total adorableness help, a LOT but really it's just so great. Katie Holmes was the guest star last night and while at first I was a little hesitant (they'd hyped her network television return so much I thought I'd vomit, or not be able to get "Hit Me With A Hot Note" out of my head for the rest of eternity) but seeing her on screen again as Grace, flirting with Eli... all I have to say is little Joey Potter is all growed up! They we're so cute together and I can't even get over their chemistry, although I'm pretty sure Johnny Lee Miller could have chemistry with a tree. I hope Katie makes many more appearances as Grace. Her character was just the right amount of delusional, kinda like Eli, for me to really, really like her... and honestly I did NOT think that that was going to happen.

Anyway, no blog (at least until Twilight comes out) will be complete without a picture of my british boyfriend Robert Pattinson. So yeah... here's that :) This is the picture on my desktop at work. It makes me happy. It also induces involentary noises upon sight. We're not obsessed or anything, it's just a deep understanding, a respect if you will, for the kind of hard work that this struggling actor does... yeah that was a bunch of crap, we're totally obsessed.
