Things I Would Like To Buy

So I figured since I kinda wanted a reason to post a picture of Robert Pattinson, I'd find an actual quasi valid reason to post and in turn, decided that I would start a post of things that I would like to buy - or better yet, have bought for me. Like this hat... let's forget the fact that Angelia Jolie is wearing it and she'd probably look good wearing a piece of gum in her hair... I tried one of these bad boys on this weekend and it looked ridiculously cute and as soon as I figure out what color coat I want, I'm going to get me a hat just like this!

And then there's this necklace. It's from Tiffany's of course. And yes, I do have a considerable amount of jewelry from Tiffany's already, but that doesn't matter. I have a soft spot for this unbelieveably expensive silver. And I really like hearts. Because I am a girl.

And then there's this bag, which I probably need like I need a hole in my head. But it's ugly paisly and it's DISNEY. And it's adorable and if I could actually find it available anywhere I would buy it. Immediately. Because I love it. It's Alice In Wonderland... what's not to love? And speaking of bags, there's this one... Coach which I love. LOVE. And Red... I love RED.

Which is why I would also really, REALLY like this coat... available at Old Navy. THIS I may have to buy shortly, seeing how it's actually getting cold. Like really cold. Like maybe I have to break the no coats before snow rule kinda cold. Fuck.

And then there's this book... which yeah, I'm gonna get like within the next couple of weeks... because I'm a big loser. A big loser who loves Twilight, yes I admit it. I love Twilight. Got a problem with that? Yeah, I thought not.

And that leaves me with these shoes... OH MY GOD these fucking shoes. There is only one thing on the planet right now that I want more than these shoes and really... I have a better chance of getting the shoes ($850 at Bergdorf Goodman incase you were wondering.) They're my new goal. I've got a thing for satin shoes made my french designers with beautiful last names... what can I say?

You know what else I've got a thing for???

BRITISH GUYS NAMED ROBERT PATTINSON... OH MY GOD

Sorry for the language but HOLY FUCK.

And Yes, Sometimes I Post For No Reason...

I love my TV boyfriends.

and then there's this... which actually causes heart palpitations...

Just A Little Something Real Quick

This is the latest iGoogle sign on page...

And this part ...

how it dips a little and it's perfectly straight. Bothers me more than I will ever be able to adequately express in words.

You See, I've Always Loved Vampires

This news made my morning... JASON DOHRING IS BACK ON TV thank you GMMR for always managing to bring me good news. I have to admit at first I was a little upset that he did not get cast as Ryan whatever-his-last-name-should-be-Walker on Brothers & Sisters and instead some no name got the part (and not even Matt Long!) but my favorite TV boyfriend is now going to be on an HBO show, which is kinda like even more reason for me to scream at my cable company and get HBO. So there's that. I'm trying to find a good pic of JD but the problem is I can't seem to locate one and that's really pissing me off. The pic's online of him just don't seem to capture how truly good looking this guy is. Most of the more recent pic's are from his Vamp days on Moonlight and even those suck (no pun intended) and he was genuienly hot on that show with his dark hair and crazy charming smile... sigh. I guess this one will do.

Speaking of crazy charming smile have you see a picture of my british boyfriend Robert Pattinson lately. Probably not, so I figured I'd post one for you. I'm in love. Seriously. Like I don't even know what to do with myself. The dillusional little life I lead is really at an all time high as far as completely crazy, I live in a make pretend world, status goes. 28 days until I can swoon at seeing him on the big screen. I. CANNOT. WAIT.

I feel like there's something else that I immediately wanted to blog about, but I guess not. I should probably get to work...oops.

Dear Buffalo, Why Do You Hate Me?

It's snowing. Cold, wet, WHITE snow. I hate snow. Yes it's pretty and sometimes when things are covered and they sparkle because the light hits them just right (like Vampires!), it takes my breath away, but most of the time. Snow just gets in the way.

I've lived in Buffalo my entire life and so you'd think I'd be used to snow by now, but I'm not. Okay, scratch that, I AM used to snow, I just don't like it. It causes people to drive like retards, it sticks to things, it makes me late for work because I have to scrape it off of my car, and when it's covering the streets its incredibly dangerous.

For the record, it's October 22nd and it's snowing. Not a lot of snow, not even really cover the ground snow (it's definitely too warm for that) but snowing enough that you can call it snow, and not heavy rain and that just makes me sad because in my mind I live in a little bubble where things like snow, they just don't happen.

Okay, enough talk of the icky white stuff, let's talk ELI STONE. Oh my god I love this show. Yes, Johnny Lee Miller and his total adorableness help, a LOT but really it's just so great. Katie Holmes was the guest star last night and while at first I was a little hesitant (they'd hyped her network television return so much I thought I'd vomit, or not be able to get "Hit Me With A Hot Note" out of my head for the rest of eternity) but seeing her on screen again as Grace, flirting with Eli... all I have to say is little Joey Potter is all growed up! They we're so cute together and I can't even get over their chemistry, although I'm pretty sure Johnny Lee Miller could have chemistry with a tree. I hope Katie makes many more appearances as Grace. Her character was just the right amount of delusional, kinda like Eli, for me to really, really like her... and honestly I did NOT think that that was going to happen.

Anyway, no blog (at least until Twilight comes out) will be complete without a picture of my british boyfriend Robert Pattinson. So yeah... here's that :) This is the picture on my desktop at work. It makes me happy. It also induces involentary noises upon sight. We're not obsessed or anything, it's just a deep understanding, a respect if you will, for the kind of hard work that this struggling actor does... yeah that was a bunch of crap, we're totally obsessed.

Reading Is Sexy

There are a million things I wanted to blog about but I cannot seem to remember a single one right now. My mind has drawn a complete blank... I really need to start writing these things down. I have decided though, that no post can be complete without a picture of Robert Pattinson (p.s. this picture makes me want to pass out) so, enjoy this one :o) And I wanted to point out, for all of you who thought I couldn't do it (including yours truly), I started a new book that is in no way at all related to Twilight. This is quite a feat for me, so be proud. Thanks to one of my book buddies at work, I am now reading Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult. Even thought, technically, I should be reading one of the five books that I am currently over 100 pages into.

Whatev.

Anyway, I saw W. last night. It was pretty funny. Josh Brolin was pretty amazing. His GWB was DEAD ON. Made me a little sick to my stomach, but, you know, that was pretty expected. I have a feeling the next movie I see in theaters will be Twilight, and I think I'm really okay with that.

At any rate, since I can't remember what I wanted to post about (and THAT'S going to piss me off) I guess I'll return to reading my book. This is a big step for me.

Thank You Mindy

For updating your blog. It made my day. Well, okay it made my morning. This actually made my day: Robert Pattinson has magical hair. I have no words for that article other than I couldn't stop laughing for a solid 10 minutes. And of course no mention of Robert Pattinson would be complete without a picture. This one happens to be one of my personal favorites. At least for today. Sometimes I cannot express in words how attractive I find this man. It's becoming a problem. For now I will refer to him as my british boyfriend (because even though he's dating Rachel Bilson and wearing awful clothes and getting lame haircuts, Hayden Christensen is still my regular celebrity boyfriend (not to be confused with my TV boyfriends, of which there are many)). I have problems. Or issues, or whatever you want to call them.

Moving on... everyone should spend hours of their day watching The Twilight Tralier which if I ever have like six hours to sit at my computer and wait for, I will upload onto my blog for viewing. (ACCOMPLISHED!!!)

I cannot really express in words how freakin EXCITED I am about this movie. November 21st cannot come soon enough. Really. I'm like totally obsessed. Like I said, this girl right here - 15 years old.

And in completely unrelated news, GMMR - which happens to be one of the best websites ever - posted their top 5 West Wing episodes which just reminded me how bad I am slacking when it comes to my West Wing post that I've literally been posting about posting, without actually posting, for like a year now. I suck at life and I am sorry.

Speaking of websites that are truly fantastic, everyone who enjoys my little doses of RP should totally check out this site. It's the happiest place on earth. Really. It gives Disney a run for its money. Well... not really, but if you're a 15 year old stuck in a 27 year olds body and you need a way to escape and giggle like teenagers with your coworkers who are in the same boat as you, it really does provide some mindless entertainment - almost as well as it enduces shreeking.

I haven't made any notable purchases as of late... although I am on the fence about this year's halloween costume, so I might as well post about that. Last year was the year of wish fulfillment and I, along with three of my friends, dressed up as Hogwarts students. I was pretty proud of our costumes, seeing how I sewed our robes from a pattern and all, and also excited because that halloween costume was probably as close to being an ACTUAL student at Hogwarts as I'm ever going to get so I decided that I will definitely be wearing that costume again. Which is great because I will be attending a party that might as well be outdoors because it will be inside a huge atrium at a haunted ex-train terminal. So having a fleece robe, will be perfect, but I am also having a Halloween party at my house (third annual actually) and last year, all I remember about my costume was being INCREDIBLY hot. So this year I may be 1 of 2 things. A Vampire (surpise, surprise) or a Fairy Princess (again, shocking, I know). I am still undecided but either way, I do not think I will be reprising the Hogwarts costume other than for the terminal party and that makes a small part of me really, really sad. Oh well, tis life.

Other than that I wanted to say everyone should watch Eli Stone. First of all because Johnny Lee Miller is ADORABLE. And second of all because it's probably the most well written primetime drama since my beloved West Wing. This weeks premier episode was a testament to how well written TV can actually be when it's well thoughtout and heartfelt.

That said, you should also watch Fringe, because while it's also very well written there's this totally crazy scientific element that can only be compared to the early years of the X-Files and that really makes me happy. Oh to sit in a room and have dinner with JJ Abrams, Aaron Sorkin and Rob Thomas. I think I'd pass out, I'd be so happy.

I think that's all from me, for now. I'm headed to go network at some even DT which I'm sure is going to be as lame as every other networking event I've ever been to. At least I'll have friends.

Dearest Project Runway...

...I wish you would have sent Kenley home a long time ago. I know now, to say this is unfair because her dress to get her into the finals was pretty amazing, but that doesn't change how i feel.

Moving on, it's been a while since I last blogged. That's not because I have nothing to say. I have LOADS to say, but I just haven't had the time. Mostly because I waste all of my free time scouring the internet for new pictures of Robert Pattinson and when I'm not on the internet I'm re-reading Twilight, or New Moon, or Eclipse, or Breaking Dawn. It's kinda a disgusting habit. Especially since I am 27 and not 15.

Right.

So I'm pretty excited about the new TV season. I've already got some new favorites. Fringe is amazing and everyone should watch it, if for no reason other than the fact that it stars Joshua Jackson and who doesn't love Pacey.

And speaking of Pacey, thanks to Netflix, I've recently been able to revisit the world of Dawson's Creek and I gotta say, holy melodrama Dawson. I'm so glad I was ACTUALLY 15 when that show started because re-watching today... all I can really say is wow, I hope I was never like that.

So it's October and I am seriously slacking on my new years resolution to buy more shoes. It's been at least a month (probably more) since my last purchase. Some one should yell at me and get me back on track.

Wow, all this Joshua Jackson and Dawson's Creek talk really got me off topic. What I wanted to do was keep talking about TV and how much I still totally love The Office especially since JIM AND PAM GOT ENGAGED!!!! Sorry if I ruined that for anyone, but seriously, it needed to happen. I love them.

Other than The Office I have been begrudgingly watching several episodes of Dancing With The Stars. It's not usually my cup of tea, but Lacey Schwimmer managed to get herself a spot as one of the professionals and being the So You Think You Can Dance fan that I am, I have to cheer her on from my couch. It helps that her partner is Lance Bass because I've always had a soft spot for NSYNC. And it also helps that she's been helping her friends get jobs and every now and then I see other So You Think You Can Dance alumni on the show. It's not as bad as I thought it would be, I have to admit.

I heart Fringe, as mentioned before and I'm still pretty much on board with Gossip Girl although I'm kinda mad at the story lines right now and am basically watching because of my growing crush on Ed Westwick and my solid lust for Chase Crawford. I'm a fan of Penn's as well.

And of course I'm still watching Heroes and all of it's WTF glory. I could probably do an entire
post on Heroes and all of the WTF moments, but maybe I'll save that for another time.

Other than those shows, my DVR and I usually have a date on Saturday mornings to watch Pushing Daises (because as much as I love Lee Pace I can't trust myself to watch that show when it's actually on, on Wednesdays, because I'm afraid that once a commercial comes on I'll lose interest) and of course Grey's Anatomy. This week looks AMAZING - can't wait! and then of course there's the MTV show - The Hills, the latest RW/RR Challenge and MAKING THE BAND. I'm pretty shocked that Diddy's going to let Aubrey go. While I used to be a fan she's pretty annoying lately. But the second part of the season finale is next week so we'll see if he stays true to his word.

And then of course there are the presidential debates. Which I will not get into right now, except to say the Sarah Palin turns my stomach. And also, you should watch this video. My favorite part is the end when Paris admits to Martin that the country was better off when it was on NBC. Sigh. I miss The West Wing.

Anyway, I'm super tired and what generally happens when I write a blog is that I start typing and then I find links and pic's so spice things up so I kinda have a little bit of work ahead of me.

I'll blog again soon... I promise.
